Excuse me as i do not understand something, you want that OMV stick to urpmi forever ? Times are changing, and on process of gathering ideas for 2015.0 there were idea to change urpmi with zypper. This idea was accepted by TC, as a direction for next release. I can not promise that it will be done and ready for 2015.0.
