Hi all,

I installed build 10043 using calamares and am a bit nervous about it. I am now running in successfully in UEFI mode.

When I ran calamares, it created two partitions, a small one for EFI and used the rest of the disk for one large partition. No swap space. /home is in the same partition as everything else. I am afraid that if I do another install, I will lose the /home partition.

Is there a way to get calamares to create two Linux partitions, one for "/" and one for "/home" as the old installation procedure did? Is there a way to get calamares to keep the "/home" folder during an installation?

Also calamares does not allow one to remove unnecessary locale and hardware stuff.

I will do further testing soon.

By the way, what is the recommended backup program for cooker/OMA2015? drakbackup doesn't seem to be around.

Regards,

Chris

Hi,

here is another new ISO candidate for OpenMandrivaLx 2015.0 alpha featuring
LXQt.

Please download it and give it a testing. Bugs please fill on
issues.openmandriva.org <http://issues.openmandriva.org>

https://abf.io/platforms/cooker/products/124/product_build_lists/10131

This ISO features calamares (www.calamares.io <http://www.calamares.io>) as a default installer, also Qt 5.5.0
and kernel nrjQL 3.18.10 LTS.

Installer can be started from Menu, as desktop activator does not work due to
bug in pcmanfm-qt.

Installation in BIOS and UEFI mode works, also booting installed distribution
in UEFI.
