According to upstream developers this is possible, by using advanced
options for partitioning.
Also calamares does not allow one to remove unnecessary locale and
hardware stuff.
Calamares is cross distribution installer, and it does not know about
remove not needed software and locales.
Second i do not think this is a blocker, as user at first boot may
remove them.
If anyone have time, feel free to create python3 module for clamares
which will allow to uninstall not needed software and locales.
