Hi TPG,
do not provide xscreensaver pkg and list the issue in release notes could be a workaround.

are you really intend to release an iso with lock screenissue?

lock screen is active in xscreensaver after 10 minutes or you can
    choose it from menu.
    unlock screen is not possible.
you have to switch to vtconsole and kill xscreensaver
in live mode vtconsole do not work

if I were a new user and I it happens something like that I would
    try another distro immediately

I think the list of issues which can be breaking should be on
the announcement as a "we're aware of it and we're getting it
        fixed".

In other news, I'd like to finalise the release announcement
by Wednesday so that translators can get started, etc.

_TPG, can we get a x86_64 and i586 ISO build going ASAP?

i added some rows regarding known issues.
please fix them and correct my english

In my opinion, I'd not like a list of "what doesn't
                work" in announcement.
I'd write instead the known (and still not fixed)
                issues in one its
own paragraph at Errata in wiki.
Then, write the link into announcement. Something like:

                **************************
                But there are some issues!
We know! Here are some of the most annoying issues
                we're having as well:

https://wiki.openmandriva.org/en/Release_3/Release_Notes#<link-to-issues-still-to-be-fixed-part>
                **************************

                My 2cents

maybe it is the best way
but my main intention was to remember it to developers ;)

Some of these errors should not be present even in an
            alpha release
