do not provide xscreensaver pkg and list the issue in release notes
could be a workaround.

lock screen is active in xscreensaver after 10 minutes or you can
choose it from menu.
unlock screen is not possible.
you have to switch to vtconsole and kill xscreensaver
in live mode vtconsole do not work
if I were a new user and I it happens something like that I would
try another distro immediately

work" in announcement.
I'd write instead the known (and still not fixed)
issues in one its
own paragraph at Errata in wiki.
Then, write the link into announcement. Something like:

maybe it is the best way
but my main intention was to remember it to developers ;)
