the virtualbox-guest-additions go in the guest, and virtualbox is

the extension pack has a non free license so cannot be distributed.
thanks

Hi Cris,
but what happens when you install a new kernel? are dkms modules builded
immediatly?
or you need to reboot with the new kernel version and dkms.service build
them?
and are modules ready when the system preload them?

Thanks Mario, that will work, does work as a workaround. However it
isn't how the package stack is supposed to work.
'Nuther question or observation: it seems to me that
'virtualbox-guest-additions' should be a dependency of 'virtualbox'.
Does anyone install and use virtualbox without the 'guest-additions'?
And then doesn't everyone have to go to the Oracle website and
install the 'Extension Pack'.
