Hi,
there hasn't been much talk about replacing openssl with libressl on the list or IRC -- so I've gone ahead and packaged libressl for testing (in a way that the libressl packages replace openssl):

https://abf.io/openmandriva/libressl

I've not added it to any of our trees yet.

So far it seems to work well for me, even binary compatibility is generally working (an exception being OpenSSH because it explicitly checks the *ssl version and aborts if the version it was built against is anything other than the version it's supposed to use at runtime, another exception being neon because it uses one of the ancient SSLv2 APIs that have been removed for security reasons).

I'm curious about other people's experiences with libressl vs. openssl vs. boringssl.
