really, ..
i test there at moment KaOSx from KaOSx.us amd mus say.. okey it's maybe
an arch-architecture
but this system works really nice..
if i see the installer, the same (no online rpm installer)
but KDE only Packages, so only QT packages..
and on the other Distributions.. it's feels like OMLx ..
so, why should the users change to OpenMandriva ?
what for an reason should it give.. okey, OMLx itt's
so far actual to the modern distros ... systemd, library's actual and
the network it's actual and use the nm
well, all so nice.. but it need only a rpm online installer in the installer
or the able to make an online installer on an usb-stick and
use this for an install on the next boot via usb and online rpm-mirrors ..
directly the rpm's from the Mirrors ..
Because this Distibution have no really an incentive to switch because
the others
have also an very nice packetmanagement, can download as an iso and it's
installable via "p on the harddisks your squashfs / or installmedium.
Mandrake, Mandriva was ever an system who was able for an install
directly from the Mirrors ..
so, an online installer boot via a medium and install directly the well
working and actual rpm's
directly as an updatet and stable fresh install Linux system..
how it is now, it is like all other Linuxdistriebution, an iso where can
piss on the harddisk's
and nothing more .. and therewith not more as an other well working
Distriebution,
It simply lacks the online installer ... this is one of them who have
make the success !!
(on the side of the drakconf and drakrpm ) Because Mandrake and Mandriva
was
drakconf, drakrpm and the Onlineinstaller drakinstall
or something with the possible for an live/online install directly from
the Mirrors !!
if this not be rebuild in the next times, do i not see an success in the
next times
and OMLx will ponds continue as dain .. or how i can say it.. or in the
words of
"The Walking Dead" OMLx whant walk like a walker or an zombi on the road ..
this is why i prefer ever and ever for an online installer, an installer
with the possibility
to use the mirrors for setting up an totally actual and fresh well
working system
without an need for an update . For make it easy to installing OMLx
short with an
usb-stick directly from the mirrors ..
This should be you first and actual work. An possibility to install
directly from the mirrors ..
an possible for download an 200/400 mb iso file or more smaller
for faster download and make able for an installer from the ftp's
i hope this possible it's in the near times planned ..
because without this, i don't see any land for OMLx ....
and this pray i since i have view the first installer behind the first
alfa ..
and this new installer where any use, make's not better,
because this is at last nothing who makes the decision for OMLx ..
and we need some who makes the decision for OMLx and this is
at last and at first the online rpm installer directly from the mirrors ..
