I think Perl still has its strengths when modifying files and it has got
thousands of additional modules through CPAN. That's what I like about
it and never got used to the indenting-style with Python. In the end I
don't care in which language the drak/drake-tools are written but the
question remains on who wants to do it.
I still love CGI-programming but the booking.com is a valid example that
a site can be professional, good looking and use Perl. At least they
were quite desperately looking for Perl-people on Froscon two years ago.
