Hi, i'd like to raise the topic of updating x11 stack for 2014.x.
Why ? Because it is almost two years old. What are the consequences of not updating ? * proprietary AMD/nVIDIA drivers will not work * updating free drivers will become a nightmare * some new hardware will not work properly or will be not recognized What needs to be done ? 1. updating x11-xorg-proto and xorg-macros 2. updating x11 librarier 3. updating x11-server 4. updating lots of x11-driver-input-* and x11-driver-video-* 5. TESTING WDYT ?
