exactly this what i had think ..
the red from WD
http://pcquadro.com/memorie/hard-disk-interni-35/9919-35-40000gb-40tb-sata3-64mb-wd40efrx-red-nas.html
144 Euros per disk.. and if i have make enough money..

but by the way, if this offer from Tapwag works, the cloud from IBM,
do we have no worries anymore ...

so, then maybe 288 Euros .. well

but if this works from Tabwag
could we use the Cloud ..

let see what's develeped on the CeBit
quote Maik:
"I will be speaking to IBM today with the CeBIT organising team and have lots
of issues to discuss with IBM, not only OpenMandriva-related stuff."

best regards

I prefer 2TBx2

Indeed 4TB disks comes from 144E (eg. NAS edition see for instance http://pcquadro.com/memorie/hard-disk-interni-35/9919-35-40000gb-40tb-sata3-64mb-wd40efrx-red-nas.html or the same in dollars http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=WD40EFRX&N=-1&isNodeId=1) to 220-250E for the RAID enterprise edition (which are more oriented to 24/7 usage for data centers, e.g. this one (http://www.bpm-power.com/it/product/1101660/).

BTW, evaluate also building a cloud storage with CEPH.
