Hi All,
As you know there were some reported black screens during testing of Lx3.01.
Before release I did several test installs but could not reproduce however for
the people it happens to it seems to be repeatable.
The latest workaround reported by rugyada is:-
When you get the black screen at reboot just after install, switch to VT
(ctrl+alt+F2)
login as my user. Then:
more /etc/sddm.conf
read the lines:
[Autologin]
...
...
User=live
:worried:
login as root, then run mc by:
#mc
go to: /etc/sddm.conf
Edit
replace "live" by your user name
Save
Quit
#reboot
The workaround would seem to indicate that Calamares is not setting values is
sddm.conf reliably
Any suggestions for debug methods?
