I'm not sure of that. Disable autologin imho means that user have to login before enter the desktop (that is SDDM is displayed). Not that one cannot do anything apart to stay in front of monitor watching a plain black screen :D > I don't know whether sddm requires some of the directories > that are created by xdg at the first login but I wouldn't mind betting that > it does and so it's unable to start until you have run LXQt. > I'll do a test install and see if I can reproduce the problem now. > Best, > Colin > Thanks, looking forward to read your test result. However, please note: I make installs always the same way. Same RAM, same partitions, same user choices (i.e. no autologin). Sometimes I run install from ISO menu, sometimes from live mode by launching #calamares in konsole. This is to test each of the two methods, but no changes. With an old calamares version everything works fine using the same ISO(s). If you think it's too bothering for you, please just let me know. I'm only testing & reporting. -- ____________________ Best regards, Cristina _______________________________________________ OM-Cooker mailing list [email protected] http://ml.openmandriva.org/mailman/listinfo/om-cooker_ml.openmandriva.org
