Hi all,
I've just installed OMD and I found it great, I've performed
manual workarond for bug in util-linux-ng packet.
Everything it' ok except Icinga core:
- I get this message Error: Could not open main config file
'/omd/sites/cedis/tmp/icinga/icinga.cfg' for reading! I resolved copying a
sample icinga.cfg in expected path
- Running /opt/omd/versions/0.56/bin/icinga -v
/opt/omd/sites/cedis/etc/icinga/icinga.cfg I get Total Warnings: 4
concerning lack of hosts/services configuration and that's normal, but I
also get:
Checking misc settings...
Error: Unable to write to check_result_path
('/usr/local/icinga/var/spool/checkresults') - No such file or directory
Warning: Nothing specified for illegal_macro_output_chars variable!
Now: the path above does not exists, I was wondering if I
have to create it or create a symlink pointing somewhere correct
But I'd prefer find a parameter in some file(s) to tell
icinga it's real installation path like /opt/omd/sites/cedis/etc/icinga
Did I make some mistakes?
Any hints or suggestions are welcome!
