We just tried to enable LDAP login with OMD 1.0.

Followed this page:
http://mathias-kettner.de/checkmk_multisite_ldap_integration.html

Click on the WATO users section and we got a list of LDAP users returned, so we
knew we had the LDAP bind account working and connecting to LDAP ok.

We could not login as a LDAP user though.

We got a browser prompt saying "OMD Monitoring Site prod"

Found this page:

http://mathias-kettner.de/checkmk_multisite_login_dialog.html

Eventually we deleted this file:

$OMD_ROOT/etc/apache/conf.d/auth.conf

Now we can login using LDAP, or http passwd if the user is not in LDAP.

Can the "$OMD_ROOT/etc/apache/conf.d/auth.conf" be deleted from the default
build setup? (I don't know if this is OMD file or a check_mk file)

Thanks

Craig
