Hi, I am currently running OMD version 1.00 on Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS and I am trying to disable ping checks at some snmp hosts.
First of all, I need to monitor some Meraki Access Points (cloud managed devices), they don't have an IP for each AP, I need to check them by the IP address of the dashboard specifying differents OIDs for each AP. Because of this, when I try to run inventory on these hosts it fails and doesn't show me the options to disable the checks I don't want. I have changed some of the nagios configurations (check_mk_objects.cfg and check_mk_templates.cfg) and it worked, but when I need to restart the site via OMD, my changes are lost and the ping checks comes back. How do I disable ping checks? There is a way to do that in WATO? I have tried some suggestions from check_mk list, like the "noping" tag, but didn't work. Thanks in advance, -- Diego
