Hi Dennis,

I'm not sure, but do you reach the client at all? Is xinetd running, is
/etc/xinetd.d/check_mk active?

In
<https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/monitoring/SLE_11_SP4/>
you find Check_MK 1.4.16 (in several packages) ready to run. Maybe you
can compare here what is needed to run the agent. I use this repo in
YaST and I have no problems using Check_MK agent on SLES 11 SP4.

HTH, Werner
