Pleas try to execute /usr/bin/check_mk_agent on the client, do you get any output?” I have an OMD installation on my monitoring server yes. I’d like to monitor a SLES11 server using the agent. Indeed running check_mk_agent on the client, it does not give any output. Thanks for the replies guys! In <https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/monitoring/SLE_11_SP4/> you find Check_MK 1.4.16 (in several packages) ready to run. Maybe you can compare here what is needed to run the agent. I use this repo in YaST and I have no problems using Check_MK agent on SLES 11 SP4.
