How did you get openjdk8 to compile on OmniOS? We thought about moving off of openjdk7, but had Real Problems (TM) making it happen. I don't know if we patch openjdk7 to be more than 256 files, that MIGHT be possible in our openjdk7 build. The ONLY reason, BTW, we ship any JDK is because of illumos's use of it for poold.
