the most storied ascents in all of cycling, the Poggio and the Cipressa,
mountains near the Tyrrhenian Sea.

In San Diego, California, second round action of the World Baseball Classic
wraps up today, with a contest between Venezuela and Puerto Rico, and another
between the Dominican Republic and the USA.  The Netherlands, Japan, and Puerto

than that, round one contained no great surprises, but as usual, round two is
awaited with great enthusiasm.

Italian Serie A Soccer promises an exciting game this evening with Torino vs.
Inter Milan.  Argentinian Ever Banega is back full strength from recovery,
giving Inter a much needed boost in this rivalry game with nearby Torino.  In a
recent interview,  Torino winger Iago Falque has said he believes teammate
Andrea Belotti is a better player than Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi.  He said
Torino would take on Inter with confidence, adding: "We've done great things at
home this season, losing only once -- to Juventus -- and even that was only in
the final minutes….  I reckon we're going to beat Inter 2-1, but I'm going to
score the second goal," he added with confidence.
