i agree, but i wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it. i don't think it will happen until someone kills cdkit and replaces it with the distro constructor. (cdkit currently depends on running sysv packaging scripts to generate the miniroot, and those scripts don't run really well on os.o.) given cdkit's close ties to sysv packaging and nevada i think the death of one implies the death of the other. i don't know about you, but i look forward to our new opensolaris distro constructor overlords. :) ed
