Hello, Veronica in CC’ has found an issue with her project while uploading a VNF with a lot of environment variables on our openlab (stable/Casablanca reinstalled yesterday with latest commit of the branch). It appears that vnf_resource_customization table had some properties with 2000 characters max, which was insufficient.
But if we look at Casablanca (and Master) branch of SO, we see that there have been commits (respectively f6f326e8fb and fe911554) that have changed this value to 20000, which should resolve the issue. The Casablanca commit is from January 17th and refers on https://jira.onap.org/browse/SO-1400 The discussion on Jira shows that version 1.3.7 solves this issue (and other ones) and this particular version has been uploaded as container on nexus for the last time on January 28th. So why do we still see version 1.3.6 on Casablanca branch of OOM (for example here: https://git.onap.org/oom/tree/kubernetes/so/charts/so-catalog-db-adapter/values.yaml?h=casablanca#n30)? Latest commit on OOM on ‘so’ folder is January 17th (moving to 1.3.6) There has been one maintenance release (on January 31th)and a new one is coming and the bug is still not fixed when we deploy. I’m sorry but I don’t see the point to create docker (especially on stable branch) release and not use it on OOM. We already reported our concern on the management of the docker versions, it’s another illustration of the gap between component provider claim (https://onap.readthedocs.io/en/casablanca/submodules/so.git/docs/release-notes.html) and installer reality (https://onap.readthedocs.io/en/casablanca/release/release-manifest-docker.html).
