Hi, Michael,

The vnf-instance-id property was added for VF-C during the ONAP Amsterdam
release.

The preference is to use vnf-id, and I think the only system that has ever used
the vnf-instance-id is VF-C

Thanks,
jimmy

Subject: [onap-discuss] vnf-id and vnf-instance-id in generic-vnf #aai

The generic-vnf object in the AAI schema contains both a vnf-id (required) and
vnf-instance-id (optional). What is the difference between these two properties
and what is the purpose of the optional vnf-instance-id property?

Thanks
Michael
