Hi Bin,
Thanks for the testing approach for multi-cloud. Since it is not realized it
will be moved to OUTPLAN for the release. Are you looking for that additional
testing to claim a new feature OR just for future reference? Please let me know.
Jim

Hi Jim, Yang Xu,

I had a following up action by last TSC call on the update of functional
requirement of “Consistent ID of a Cloud Region”, it is yellow since OOF does
not realize it in Dublin release.

However, I assume it could be tested without oof in certain test cases, e.g. vFW

I try to explain a little bit how the test case could be done:
Assume: there are 2 clouds, or 1 cloud with 2 tenants.
Step1 : With curl commands to AAI or ESR GUI portal, onboard 2 cloud region
with : same cloud-region-id (e.g. RegionOne), but different cloud-owner (e.g.
CloudOwner1, CloudOwner2, respectively)
Step 2: With VID GUI portal, these 2 cloud regions should be populated in the
dropdown list, deploy 2 service instances to different cloud region respectively
Step 3: Observe the created heat stacks on respective cloud regions

The idea was described at Test Plan 2: vFW Use Case covering"Consistent ID of
Cloud Region" from
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Use+Case+Tracking+in+Dublin+Release

Hope this is clear, please let me know how I can help further.

Thanks

Subject: [Onap-usecasesub] !!! ONAP Dublin - Call for Action !!!
Importance: High

Dear Use Case/Functional and Non-Functional Owners,

I want to inform you about a decision that the TSC took during the TSC call on
4/18.

TSC agreed that, if no feedback provided to Jim by 4/22 EOD, any requirement
(use case, functional requirement, non-functional requirement), currently
marked in yellow/(red), not due to testing blockers/issues,
will be moved to the Dublin POC section a.k.a no more be part of the official
release.

Please take immediate action and talk to Jim – thank you !

Best regards
Catherine
