[Winona Online Democracy] Greetings Everyone, Just a little update on the list . . . Since we've started the list just over seven weeks ago, the number of list members has grown by almost 50% and now totals 150. For those who are new to the list, I thought it might be a good time to post a reminder of the basic guidelines to keep in mind when participating: 1. Discussion topics can include any items or issues that impact the Winona area. 2. Anyone may initiate a new topic at any time or add their comments to the current discussion. 3. Anyone may post announcements relating to meetings of local community groups. 4. Postings are limited to no more than two a day per person. 5. All messages must be signed with your full actual name. 6. The list will not tolerate abusive language, personal attacks or profanity. Remember, when responding to messages (or initiating a new topic) you should address your email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (hitting the "reply" button will generally not address it to the list, so you will probably have to change the email address when you respond to a message). In general, please always respond to the list rather than sending your response only to the individual who authored the message (unless your response is of a personal nature or the issue does not relate to Winona). -Steve Kranz Co-Chair, Winona Online Democracy p.s. If you have time this Saturday (Oct.14th), be sure to stop by our booth at the Business & Technology Expo and say hello. The Expo runs from 10:00 am until 6:00 p.m. at Winona State University in McCown Gymnasium. Admission is free. For those of you with an interest in technology, the Expo is a great opportunity to see what types of things are happening in Winona's business tech community. ---------------- This message was posted to the Winona Online Democracy Project.
