[Winona Online Democracy]
The ad in the newspaper doesn't really bother me all that much to be honest,
Clayton. I can chose to ignore an ad whether it be on tv, the newspaper a
billboard or whatever. And to be frank i don't really read the Daily Snooze
that much anyways.
However, what does bother me is eating out and having to breathe someone
else's cigarette smoke ~ especially when i am sitting in what is supposed to
be the nonsmoking section. (By the way, the law states that there is to be a
minimum of three (3) feet between a smoking section and a nonsmoking one. How
many of Winona's resturants meet this requirment? Darn few it appears.)
Earlier, someone here brought this issue up, but it apparently died for lack
of interest. But with the election coming up soon, i once again would like to
challange any candidate for city Council to take up the banner of making all
of Winona's resturants nonsomoking like Moose Lake, Minnesota recently did.
