[Winona Online Democracy]

Lee:

Great idea! The local media could make use of the interested, informed
people on this forum as a community-wide "experts list." A reporter could
ask a question of the group and anyone who feels qualified could answer.
Hmmmm.....Speaking of online democracy: this could be a way for many more
than "the usual suspects" to make their opinions heard in the local media.

And I still like the idea of inviting the local media to monitor the
discussions. If nothing else, it could generate story ideas and interview
leads.

Steve: Has the local media been formally invited to participate in any way
in this forum?
