[Winona Online Democracy] As I am trying to avoid getting the snowblower out to be sure I'm ready for the 'storm', I came across a couple of sayings. All the media and politician rhetoric made these mean more to me-- This one ironically comes form a man in Florida -- "The trick to eating crow is to pretend it tastes good." That reminded me, for some reason, of another saying I saw recently-- "It is more important to be kind than to be right." Both sayings are hard to swallow. It takes a life time of practice. I'm glad the storm is coming. We Minnesotans can focus on other things and we'll actually be able to do something about it -- shovel it -- the white stuff isn't as heavy as the brown stuff. <()> ---------------- This message was posted to the Winona Online Democracy Project.
