Dear Winona Online Democracy Members,
In the face of widely reported voting irregularities, I'm really
concerned that a simple recount of Florida's votes will not satisfy
most people in our country. No matter who comes out on top of this
count, an unfair vote will weaken the presidency and our nation.
I'm joining an online campaign called "Fair Election 2000" to ask
both candidates to step back from partisan warfare and let the
people's voice be heard. Can you help?
Our petition reads: "A re-vote is the only just remedy for Palm
Beach voters."

American Way, the well-respected organization sponsoring this

the Bush and Gore campaigns.
