[Winona] New Bike Path?

Has anyone looked into the possibility of extending the bike path along the top of the Gilmore Creek Dike then behind Shopko and ending it at the new park that Goodview will be building along Hwy. 61?  Some of the bike path would be on state owned property along Hwy. 61.  It would tie in both parks nicely.    Maybe a joint venture between both cities could happen, and I would have to imagine there would be some Federal dollars for such a project.  The bridge over Gilmore Creek would then get more use.   Michelle Nelson
