[Winona Online Democracy]
I have been receiving mailings on how we have to cut back for our schools
again.
As I told the board when I was interviewed for the past opening, I think
there is an easy answer to our problems; only I know no one would be willing
to do it.
I know that our superintendent does a lot of work for our schools and so do
the many other administrators, but do they really need the high salaries
that they get paid? My family is very large and we do not make even close
to what the superintendent makes and we are doing fine. What about paying
these people the same as the teachers are making? I know that cutting back
on salaries for administration people will never happen, but I know that I
wouldn't have a problem with mine being cut back if I were one of them.
Any other ideas?
