I'm sorry to hear that. You did the easy thing. You have offended the
least vocal side of the issue.
I will be withdrawing my United Way support tomorrow and sending my
contribution directly to the Boy Scouts. It's not much of a gesture, but
what else can I do. They already have the support of the Supreme Court. I
would guess in the end you're really doing them a favor. In many cities
where similar action is taken the support for the scouts has increased.
Perhaps next you will stop directing funds to Catholic Charities because
they deny communion to Protestants. What about the YMCA? They're a
membership organization. Where in the world will you stop?

PS. I've thought of what else I can do. I currently have my radio alarm
set to KWNO so I can listen to your 6am morning show. I particularly enjoy
the banter between yourself and your Sports Director, Mr. Greggo (sp?). I
can change to another station. Again, it's not much, but I'm willing to do
what I can.
