Earth Day is near.

The Winona area community will be celebrating Earth Day with a free event at the Winona Lake Park Bandshell this Sunday, April 22 from Noon to 5:00 pm.

Come and enjoy the afternoon with our eco-minded sponsors who will be providing information on ways we can improve the world we live in by making simple
choices.

Activities include:
� Music performed by:
  Jim Mudcat Grant, Stacy Hughes & Patti Darbo  and The Expanded Bus Boys
� Information tables
� Free hands on activities for children of all ages
� Drawings for prizes

Learn more about promoting nature and protecting the world we live in.
Learn about alternative energies such as solar and wind power.
See canoes, kayaks and hybrid cars.
Find out more about organizations within the area.

In case of rain, the event will be held in the Smaug at WSU.  Just follow the signs on Huff.
