[Winona Online Democracy]
Dean,
So, how was the spelling and punctuation in that comic book? I'm just
wondering if the authors are wacko and illiterate, or just offensive ;) (In
case someone doesn't understand, that comment was meant to be humorous, and
was not intended to offend anyone- except maybe the morally challenged who
send such material)
Years back when HBC started as Luminet, a lot of people participated in the
online Winonanet, which was set up much like this. However, you didn't have
to sign your name, and most went by nicknames. I found that many people
were incredibly mean spirited when they could be anonymous. I really like
that e-democracy requires your real name, I think most people think twice
about what they write, when they know they can be called on it.
