[Winona Online Democracy]
As one of the maligned "local media" who covered last nights school board
meeting, let me assure Joanie and Dwayne that the Winona Daily News does
care about staff cuts in the Winona Public Schools and we do report on them.
The board's action was not in the paper this morning because the board did
not act on the proposed termination's and unrequested leaves until well past
9:30 p.m., too late to make our late evening deadline.
