Actually, to be fair to the local papers . . . the Daily News did mention
the Pioneer Press story in last Saturday's paper in an article about
legislative issues related to education
(http://www.winonadailynews.com/schools/schools.php3) and I imagine that the
Post was probably just going to press with their last issue when the story
appeared in the St.Paul paper so they haven't had an opportunity to report
the information.
