Our client, a large finance/brokerage corporation is currently looking at
augmenting their IT team by bringing on board a *Sr.* *C# Dot Net Developer*.
* *
*Position:* Sr. C#/.NET Developer
*Contract:* 6 months Contract-to-Hire
*Location:* New York
*Start Date:* Immd.
*ONLY GC’s and Citizens and EADs.*
*Technical Skills*
· Highly Proficient in *C#* -Windows Forms, Console, Services for
the Outgoing Jobs
· Highly Proficient in TSQL-Changes to Stored Procedures and Tables
/ Sql Server 2005 + 2008
· *Crystal Reports *
· *ASP.NET and JavaScript *
· *Web Security* a plus
· *C# and TSQL* are the most important skills.
· Any experience with *Phase 3 \ Sungard Replication database* would
be helpful.
· They should have relevant *Capital Markets experience* especially
at least 2 yrs in Options Industry
· *Sungard Phase 3* Experience will be preferred.
· *Options Symbology Initiative (OSI)* projects before that will be
great PLUS
*BRIEF:*
*Required Skills*
1. C# - Winforms – High performance & real-time desktop applications,
Multi Threading, Network programming – Console Applications and Services
2. ASP.Net & Javascript – Good exposure to the current web
technologies and building interactive, fast, reliable and secure web
applications
3. TSQL – MS SQL 2005-2008 - Complex queries and stored procedures
4. Crystal
*Since it will be tough to find a single profile with both 1 and 2 above, we
can find one profile which is excellent in 1 but less exposure to 2 and
another with the opposite skills. However 3 and 4 are a must.*
* Nice to have skills (in the order of importance)*
1. Exposure to working on Trading applications or systems – any
instrument –
2. Exposure to Sungard Phase 3 and/or Sungard
3. Exposure to working on Trading applications or systems – Options
4. Exposure to projects involving Web security
