SUMMARY

This role can include review of business requirements, technical design
documents, as well as test plans and cases and day to day management of
testing activities associated with that project. The Sr. Quality Improvement
Analyst has a process improvement mindset and works towards continuous
improvement of themselves and the organization. The Sr. QAI participates in
projects providing guidance and direction on the quality management process.
QAI could provide insight and recommendations on test outputs for
regression, system load and performance and security scans as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with IT and cross functional business departments to review
requirements and application functionality; estimate at a ROM and detail
level in support of assigned initiatives
• Create test plans and test cases.
• Ensure the business requirements are clear, unique, valid and testable.
Identify test cases that are automation candidates
• Identifies possible risks within a project or release, and any conflicts
with other concurrent QA work efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or
equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
• Experience with defect tracking/management software and ability to
formulate metrics and make recommendations based on outcomes
• Experience building risk based matrices and using risk methodologies.
• Experience in creating, customizing, and implementing test cases/scripts
within an automated testing tool preferred.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including requirements
analysis and basic application architecture knowledge.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Basic proficiency with at least 3 of the following:
• C++, Java, C#, ASP.net, COBOL and HTML programming.
• SQL and Oracle databases and/or Siebel.
• AS400 mainframes, UNIX and/ or Windows operating systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team-oriented environment.
• Foster company success through a professional appearance, being courteous
to customers and all associates and by having a positive attitude. *
