Duration: 6 months
We are looking for a Business Analyst who has good exposure to the Insurance
domain with experience in Vantage.
Meet with business units and business partners to understand issues to be
resolved or opportunities to be realized.
Facilitate the elicitation and documentation of business and functional
requirements via Business Requirements workshops.
Use modeling techniques and tools to create intuitive depiction of current
and future state business processes, system flows, or activity diagrams.
Capture, prioritize, quantify and articulate the stakeholder needs.
Collaborate with project team to determine best possible solutions. Ensure
the design addresses business issues to be resolved and it aligns with
long-term business initiatives. Play a key role in developing new or
revised business processes/procedures in lieu of system development.
Responsible for all artifacts and tasks produced in the Requirements
discipline of the Rational Unified Process (RUP).
Create requirements documentation including, but not limited to Scenarios,
Use Cases, Models, Activity Diagrams, spreadsheets, Supplementary
Specifications, and user interfaces such as screen mock-ups, reports,
letters, extracts.
Able to independently collaborate with various technical staff members to
determine possible solutions and communicate business and system impacts to
IT and Operations staff. Lead and/or participate in business requirements
workshops.
Contribute to and review project plans and design documents.
Responsible for assigned test activities including, but not limited to
defining test plans, creating test cases, identifying expected results,
executing test cycles, and troubleshooting cycle problems
Identify opportunities for use and and/or development of automated testing.
Responsible for utilizing automated testing in lieu of manual data entry and
data validation.
Submit defect tickets to appropriate resource and work with technical staff
in the resolution of the ticket
