Project Manager

12 months Contract
Rate: DOE
Required skills and abilities:
. Minimum of (5) five years of extensive hands-on experience with
project management as the project manager with full accountability and
financial responsibility
. Posses knowledge of the related IT standards and software (i.e.,
Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and project management tools)
. Minimum of (5) five years of IT experience in one or more
technical roles
. Demonstrated experience developing Request for Proposals (RFP) in
a state government environment
. Experience working with and preparing project documentation such
as detailed requirements
. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with
clients, management, end users and project team members
. Ability to manage vendors
. Ability to interact effectively with technical personnel and with
a wide variety of technical resources
. Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts,
information, plans, and procedures to both technical personnel and non-IT
business users
. Excellent written and oral communications
. Posses conflict resolution and negotiation skills
. Posses knowledge and demonstrated ability to conduct detailed
planning, and to perform risk assessments and their associated risk
mitigation actions
Preferred:
. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
