*Position: TSM Backup Engineer* Location: Reston, VA Duration: Initial 6 months contract, may go longer *Job Description:* 1.) Analyze the current storage and backup configurations in detail including OS, SAN and back end storage arrays & tape infrastructure. 2.) Design and solution a large and complex backup & recovery environment (currently TSM) including leveraging the emerging backup & recovery technologies for faster service times and additional optimization. 3.) Provide solution to meet migration requirements for a large pool of legacy LTO-2 tape infrastructure leveraging new technologies for greater consolidation and optimization. 4.) Provision/Administer TSM backup & recovery environment. 5.)
