The reason I prefer Apache OpenOffice is purely from a marketing point of view. The name OpenOffice has had 10 years of brand building. With no marketing budget and no immediate means of raising brand awareness it needs everything possible to help the public profile. LibreOffice has had a year yet I know of virtually no-one outside FOSS enthusiasts who have heard of it whereas OpenOffice many have. -- Ian Ofqual Accredited IT Qualifications (The Schools ITQ) www.theINGOTs.org +44 (0)1827 305940 The Learning Machine Limited, Reg Office, 36 Ashby Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 8AQ.
