It's really a dump issue What do we have - default was set to false in 2006 - FirstStart wizard asked the user during the setup about the automatic update -> where the default is enabled, means many Windows users have it enabled - FirstStart wizard was removed for 3.4 and we have overseen this default setting - users who have an older user installation will have it potentially enabled - users who installed 3.4 or 3.4.1 (if we don't enable it) will have it disabled, which of course is not what we want I agree that we should enable this setting and I will mark it as showstopper. Not nice that we have to rebuilt the office but useful in the long term I think. Juergen
