I just ran across this tidbit of information and thought I would post it so we have the information captured in the archives.
It looks as though you can even use the free Visual C++ Express edition to do a 64-bit compile. Note 64-bit tools are not available on Visual C++ Express Edition by default. To enable 64-bit tools on Visual C++ Express Edition, install the .NET Framework SDK in addition to Visual C++ Express Edition. Otherwise, an error occurs when you attempt to configure a project to target a 64-bit platform using Visual C++ Express Edition. The above is from this section in the MSDN Library: Visual C++ How to: Configure Visual C++ Projects to Target 64-Bit Platforms The .NET Framework SDK is also free, so it looks as though anyone willing do some free downloads and installs will be able to build a local version of the interpreter to work on the code. -- Mark Miesfeld ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Oorexx-devel mailing list Oorexx-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oorexx-devel
