I had an idea, not sure if it is a good one.
why not have a rexxref for each platform - which could each have a platform
specific chapter? The rest of the text could be shared. That way, someone
developing for a platform could know that what they see in the ref is what
they get. We might want an edition with only cross-platform functionality.
