In DocBook, the revisionflag attribute can be added to any element, using
any of the attribute's enumerated values added, deleted, changed, or off.
Adding revisionflag attributes by hand is a tedious process.
Fortunately, if you maintain copies of your revisions, you can use a program
named DiffMk to compare two versions and generate a temporary version with
revisionflag markup.

I applied the procedure to the chapter fundclasses.sgml of rexxref (after
manual conversion to XML DocBook), between revision 1206 and 4769.
As a result, I have a DocBook with revisionflags, an HTML file with colors
and a PDF with changebars.
Done under Windows, using XEP to generate the PDF.
I have a zip file ready to send (is it supported to attach a zip file here
?).
