Yes: one could assign the OOo-Rexx-icon to those files, such that
looking via the explorer the pictogramm already tells, that it contains
an OpenOffice-program written in Rexx. (See the e-mail with a link to
those logos in Gray Wilson's e-mail

A filename extension should hint that this is a Rexx program for OOo as
well.

That should be possible in any case (you just triggered also the need to
add an option to the Rexx interpreter instances to use '.jrexx' as
another Rexx file extension).

I've uploaded v 2.0 of the ooRexx icons, 
with new Crystal and OS X styles.

All icons have been improved for legibility.
If you use the previous set, I recommend you upgrade your icons.
