Hi there, thanks to everyone who participated and reasoned!
>From the postings I would follow Chip's original suggestion for BSF4Rexx files to gain an extension of ".rxj", which everyone else supported! For the OpenOffice Rexx script/macro files I intended to use ".rxjo", but looking at such file extension somehow looks quite weird and hence a little bit distracting, such that I would intend to use ".rxo" (Rexx OOo script/macro) at least for the beta. This follows the philosophy of most posters, in that the extension won't be longer than three chars. [Maybe, if feedback comes up, this may change after the beta pahse to ".rxjo" which would carry the 'j' info in the extension, that BSF4Rexx/Java is used for the OpenOffice support.] Again, thanks for all of your participation/feedback! ---rony CVBruce wrote: > I like short +1 for me too. > > I did lookup .RXJ and .RXJO on filext.com, and no one else is using > those extensions, unlike .REX and .RX > > Bruce > On Oct 13, 2009, at 5:16 AM, David Ruggles wrote: > > >> I like the shortest version of file extensions possible so I say +1 to >> Chip's suggestion as well. >> >> Thanks, >> >> David Ruggles >> CCNA MCSE (NT) CNA A+ >> Network Engineer Safe Data, Inc. >> (910) 285-7200 [email protected] >> >> >> >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Rony G.
