Hi there,

just a little tidbit about the port of BSF4ooRexx to MacOSX:

    * BSF4ooRexx per se works in 32- and 64-bit on MacOSX, including the
      multihreading unit tests,
    * the OpenOffice.org (OOo) support worked for the first time this
evening, such that the same ooRexx script that drive OOo on
Windows and Linux work unchanged (!) on MacOSX as well.
o Also the functionality of adding ooRexx as a macro language
to OOo (ooRexx appears in the "Tools - Macros" menu as an
own language) works; the only problem left seems to be with
the OOo scripting framework which does not dispatch the
JFrame-based editor successfully, which needs investigation.
o Note: OOo on MacOSX (and Windows) is 32-bit, therefore only
use the 32-bit version of ooRexx 4.1 and higher, until OOo
appears in 64-bit on those platforms.

If further tests succeed, then a new BSF4ooRexx package will be planned
for a release for the end of March. Ultimately, the student's work on
GUI-based installers should yield such installers for Windows, Linux and
MacOSX during the summer semester (which lasts until the end of June here).

Kudos go to Bruce, who helped create ooRexx 4.1.0 interpreters for 32-
and 64-bit, thanks a lot again !
