Hi there, in the summer of last year (August 21st) ooRexx 4.1.0 got released.
Rick hinted to intend to add try-catch-finally to the language (modelled after NetRexx' implementation?) along with other features (like a Rexx stack trace). In addition there are quite a few request for enhancements registered, which should be processed on a steady basis. Cf. <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?limit=100&func=&group_id=119701&atid=684733&assignee=&status=&category=&artgroup=&keyword=&submitter=&artifact_id=&assignee=&status=1&category=&artgroup=&submitter=&keyword=&artifact_id=&submit=Filter>. In order to create an IDE for ooRexx over time, it would be necessary to get the ability for a debug/watch API and maybe a profiling API. So the question is: what are the next plans about ooRexx by the ooRexx team ? When can one expect a new version of ooRexx (there is a 4.1.1 branch that contains fixes w.r.t. 4.1.0)? ---rony ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Malware Security Report: Protecting Your Business, Customers, and the Bottom Line.
