thank you for your kind offer, you would have to install macports and use a pristine oorexx from trunk. But it is not necessary to duplicate this problem. I am just curious whether it would be possible to add some definition to CMakeLists.txt that causes searching for libraries in the XCode/SDK libraries first. Cheers ---rony
